छीन कर मासूम बचपन
देदी गरीबी ने जिम्मेदारी
खिलोने से खेलने की उम्र में
नियुक्त हुए है बाल कर्मचारी
गरीबता भी अभिशाप है
मार जिसकी सहनी पड़ती
दो वक़्त की रोटी के लिए
दिनभर की दिहाड़ी करनी पड़ती
प्यार और दुलार मिलना है जिनको
दुत्कार उनको मिल रही
कैसी परिस्थिति है जिसमे
वक़्त से पहले बचपन और जवानी ढल रही
आय, असमानता, शिक्षा की कमी
बड़ा परिवार और कृषि की कमी
कारण है ये बाल श्रम के
भुक्तना जिसे 14 साल से कम उम्र को पड़े
कम पगार सुविधाएं कम
मन मर्ज़ी का काम, सवाल कम
छोटा कद, कंधो पे वजन भारी
कुपोषण का शिकार है परिश्रमकारी
शिक्षा और जागरूकता का आभाव
व्यसायिक और नियुक्ताओं की कमी
कानून और उसके दंड को है समझाना
बाल श्रम का है बहिष्कार करना
अचरज है ये देख के
देश आज भी गुलाम है
बांध के आँखों पे पट्टी
इंसान बन रहा महान है।

पैरों में है आलता बिछिया
और माथे पे चमके बिंदिया
